Learn Unity Through Real Development Sessions
We run monthly live sessions where you actually build things. Not just watch someone code, but get your hands dirty with real Unity projects that matter.
Each webinar focuses on a specific challenge that game developers face. You'll walk away with working code, not just theory. And if something doesn't make sense during the session, you can ask right then.
Most sessions run around 90 minutes. We spend the first half building something together, then open it up for questions and troubleshooting. People usually stick around after to keep chatting about their projects.
Upcoming Sessions for 2025
We're planning sessions through autumn. Topics shift based on what people are struggling with, but here's what's currently scheduled.
Character Controller Deep Dive
Building a responsive third-person controller from scratch. We'll handle slope detection, jumping mechanics, and camera collision in ways that actually feel good to play.
Bring questions about physics quirks. We always run into interesting edge cases during this one.
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM Taiwan TimeOptimizing Mobile Game Performance
Your game runs fine in the editor but tanks on actual devices? Yeah, we've all been there. This session covers profiling tools, draw call reduction, and memory management that makes a difference.
We'll look at real examples from mobile games and fix performance bottlenecks together.
7:00 PM - 8:45 PM Taiwan TimeInventory Systems That Scale
Creating an inventory system that doesn't break when you add new item types. We'll build a flexible architecture using ScriptableObjects and clean data patterns.
Good for anyone working on RPGs or survival games where items are central to gameplay.
7:30 PM - 9:00 PM Taiwan TimeAI Behavior Without Headaches
State machines, behavior trees, and when to use which approach. We'll build enemy AI that reacts intelligently to player actions without requiring a CS degree to understand.
This one's always popular. Bring your AI frustrations and we'll work through them.

Meet Your Instructor
Finn Jørgensen
I've been working with Unity since 2012, mostly on mobile and indie games that needed to run on anything from high-end phones to budget devices. Spent a few years at a small studio in Copenhagen before going independent.
These webinars started because I kept answering the same Unity questions in forums. Figured it made more sense to show solutions live where people could follow along and adapt code to their own projects.
My teaching style is pretty straightforward. We write code together, it breaks, we fix it. That's usually how real development goes anyway.
- Developed 8 mobile games with over 2 million combined downloads
- Contributed to Unity Asset Store packages for character controllers
- Regular speaker at Taipei Game Developers meetup since 2023
- Previously worked at Kiloo on Subway Surfers updates
How to Join Our Sessions
Registration opens two weeks before each webinar. Sessions are capped at 35 people so everyone can actually participate and get questions answered.
You'll get access to the project files a day before the session, so you can set things up and have Unity ready to go. Recordings stay available for three weeks if you need to review something later.
- Live coding sessions where you build alongside the instructor
- Direct Q&A time to solve your specific Unity challenges
- Access to working project files and completed code samples
- Small group size means actual interaction, not just watching
- Recording access for three weeks after each session
